West End Yard is fully accessible by a variety of different transport modes. In line with it’s excellent BREEM rating, walking cycling and the use of public transport will be actively encouraged.

Walking

West End Yard is less than 10 minutes away from the centre of Llanelli.

Cycling

There will be secure cycle parking available at the site for all tenants, as well as a few places for visitors. During the final construction phase, please advise if you are planning to arrive by bike.

Rail

Llanelli Station is a 20 minute walk and approximately 10 minutes cycle ride from West End Yard. For map and to get directions of the route see here. Services provided by Arriva Train Wales. Bicycles are allowed on most trains at the discretion of the guard. For more information see here.

Train going East

Regular Services to Swansea/Abertawe, Cardiif/Caerdydd, Newport/Casenewydd and from there on to Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington.

Buses

There are a number of bus operators that serve Llanelli. Most buses arrive at Island Place a short walk from West End Yard. Up to date timetables and a route map for all major services can be found here.

There are regular hourly services during the week to Swansea, Bury Port, Gorseinon, Loughor, Llwynhendy, Pwll, Brynawelon, Penyfan. Other services include a Dial a Ride service for part of Llanelli and the immediate surrounding area where there are no access to bus services.

Parking

There are several car parks within a short walk of West End Yard. Church Street offers both daily and short stay car parking. Vauxhall Road offers daily and season ticket only.

Car Sharing
